Matthew
1 (NASB)
21 She will bear a Son;
and you will call His name Yeshua (Yehovah-saves / Jesus: English Translation), for [w Himself] He will
save His people from their sins.”
Notes: The
angel in Joseph’s dream gave a command to name the child ‘Yeshua’ (Jesus) and
explained the meaning/destiny in the word ‘Yoshia’ (will save) - the Hebraic
word-pun style only works in Hebrew - not in Greek or Latin.
